Who are we?

Option is a community organization founded in 1987. Our mission is to offer support, monitoring, and psychotherapy services to adults, both men and women, exhibiting violent behaviors in a marital and family context. We offer services in French, and some of these services are available in English or with an interpreter. Option's counselors support individuals in reflecting on what leads them to use violence and in their process of finding alternatives to this violence, while taking into account each person's specific life experience.

Option offers training and supervision to professionals who already work with this clientele or who wish to develop expertise in intervening with individuals exhibiting violent behaviors within the couple and family.
